Believe it or not, yesterday we switched to Christmas music in my house! In general though, I listen to pop music and sometimes country music. I’m lucky to have kids who keep me updated with what the popular songs are these days.

The kind of music that I like changes depending on my mood and how the day is going! My work playlist has a lot of Ed Sheeran in it and a lot of chilled music, but also love Punk Rock Factory, who do covers of pop songs. They do a lot of covers of Disney music, which my children think is amazing and we enjoy listening to them together.

I may be taking a cue from Charlene though and switching to Christmas music very soon!

The Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice, Jungle and The Cranberries and Skepta are my most listened to artists according to spotify.

I listen to a lot of different genres so I don’t really have a favourite.

I enjoy any type of Acappella music. I love the vocal talent that some acappella artists showcase.

I love classical music. My favourite period is the Baroque, because you can have so many instruments each playing its own little tune, but when they do so together you get almost like a conversation that turns into music.

Having said that, I also listen to lots of other stuff like Folk, Indie, and Latin American music.

I lean towards you rock/indie/emo genre but I do like almost all music.
My dad bought me up on his favourite band which still is Queen, and he enjoyed the guitar sounds growing up in the 60’s onwards. My mum preferred the soul and disco genre of that era, but she had a soft spot for the Osmonds and Bay City Rollers (google them).

My sister and I are 90s kids really, so there were the The Spice Girls, That That, Backstreet boys for my sister. Blur, Oasis and Savage Garden for me.

Nowadays I just turn on playlists from BBC sounds and hope to hear some good new music.
