Responsible for day to day care of Zebrafish that are used in Medical Research. I try to keep our fish as happy as possible by making sure they are in the right environment, they have enough food and are healthy.
-
My Typical Day:
I keep fit by cycling to work and usually there by 9am. First thing I do is to feed all the Zebrafish in the facility. Next I make sure they are healthy but checking for signs of ill health and ensuring they are cared for properly. I also help other researchers organise experiments that use fish and advise them on how to best care for them. I typically get to cycle home again around 5pm.
