I finished high school in Romania. There we take national exams at the end of high school, similar to the French system where they do a baccalaureate. I sat exams for Romanian language and literature, English as a second language, Maths, Biology and Logics & Argumentation.

About Me:
Originally from Romania, I moved to the UK in 2009 after my university studies. I now live in Oxford with my husband and our toddler and tortoiseshell cat. I love travelling, cycling, long walks, audiobooks and good food. And, of course, cats!

I work in a research lab at the University of Oxford. I do experiments to understand what causes diabetes and also diseases that affect the brain in older people.

Scientist
Were you ever in trouble at school?
Yes. I couldn't sit still and sometimes talked during class.

Maybe architect or lawyer...

Any current Spanish pop singer.

It varies. Right now, cinnamon buns!
